Art Rave is bringing people together to talk about the arts here in the Alberni Valley, and how we can use them to propel us to new heights.
September 22nd from 7 p.m to 9 p.m., they’re hosting what they’re calling a “no holds barred, deep-dive conversation into the current state and trajectory of our creative sector.”
The meeting, dubbed “Conversation Cafe #1 —The Outer Limits of the Artscape,” intends to bring together the Alberni Valley’s creatives in a “chill local setting.”
It’s taking place at local favourite SteamPunk Cafe. The cafe is owned and operated by a family with lots of passion and awesome coffee!
It will be a chance for you to lend your voice to key issues in the creative sector, as well as learn about local opportunities and collaborate with others to change the local artscape.
This will be the first meeting of many—the Conversation Cafes are set to become a monthly staple.
They are a great chance to get out and meet other creative folks near you.
This meeting will be facilitated by Theresa Kingston.
