Surf’s Up For These Sisters

Come join them!

They’re here to teach you how to rip

Have you planned your 2023 trip to Tofino yet?

If you haven’t, here’s your reason. Surf Sister has just announced their Surf Camp dates for 2023!

The sessions are the perfect way to get away for a week, and hone your surf skills, or get out on the water for the first time.

Surf Sister has been a dedicated organization in Tofino for almost 25 years now. What began with one truck, a few boards, and a goal of getting more women into the surf scene has grown into a community staple.

Now, they help make sure absolutely everyone feels welcome to the sport—and give them the tools to ride all the amazing waves Tofino has to offer.

“Our #surfsister instructor was just incredible. She took a group of women who had never really surfed before and turned them into believers…of themselves,” said Ottsworld Travel and Life Experiences in a posting on their experience with the group.

Their camps start in May of next year. They can teach you the very basics over a weekend. Or sign up for a week-long session with personalized lessons. For the truly brave, you can review footage of your moves to perfect your technique so you can truly tackle anything the water throws at you!

Or, if you want to join them abroad, you could head out as early as this November.

Beyond the camps, you can drop into Surf Sister Shop for a coffee and chat anytime. They also offer group or private lessons by booking if you need to tailor your trip.

They just wrapped the annual Queen of the Peak Women’s Surf Championships, which showcased and celebrated all the amazing women surfers we have on the west coast.

Check them out, and by next year you could be the newest big competitor!
